a.      Content Curation

• Curated online content relevant to school education

• Designed a simple to use platform - eSchool.tube , offering a guided browsing experience to school teachers

• Built user-friendly navigation  on the basis of

  • SUBJECT

  • CLASS

  • THEME (Topic)

  • LEVEL (Difficulty level)

b.      Pilot implementation

• Identified few low-cost schools and learning centers catering to under-privileged students and piloted the platform in these schools

• Focus on centers in urban-village pockets and remote areas 

• Based on user feedback, incorporated 'SEARCH LIBRARY' facility including content search in different languages

• Interacted and collaborated with existing online content providers 

• Held regular teacher training and hand-holding  workshops in the pilot schools / centers to enhance capacity of teachers to use ICT in classroom teaching

c.       Infrastructure Research and Solutions

• Explored different combination of devices ( computing & display ) to arrive at cost effective solutions, which have thin clients and least maintenance issues

• Explored and identified location-specific ISPs (internet service providers) for last mile connectivity

     d.      Impact (at pilot site)

• Increased attention and interest of students in class-room

• Better prepared teachers

• Better understanding of concepts

• Improved students grades
